My connection to Japan began at age 12, hosting exchange students through my city’s sister-city program, leading to my first visit at 14 in 1994. This bond unexpectedly shaped my career in Japan as an English teacher, business consultant, and travel writer.
I propose revolutionizing Japan’s English education via an interactive website/chatbot, which will be replicated for others. This company-sponsored initiative will connect Japanese and upstate NY (Catskills) teens (ages 16-18), fostering a new relationship without relying on tax dollars. Using Web3 technology, this platform will create a “quantum-entangled network” where individuals become remote-working, digital-nomad “collaborative agents” specializing in educational tourism, benefiting both Japan and the U.S. entrepreneurially.
